About six years ago, we set out to solve a problem we kept running into at the lake. Traditional foam water mats were bulky, difficult to roll, hard to store, and easily damaged. So we decided to build something better.
What started as a personal project quickly turned into something much bigger. The first EZ Roll Marine Mat was originally made just for our own family to use at the lake. But once we started bringing it out on the water, we realized it might be something more.
Weekend after weekend, more and more people would swim over and ask where we got our mat from. Our answer was always simple: “We made it.”
After years of genuine interest in the product, countless days of testing on the water, and continued improvements to the design, we decided to launch Floatation Innovation and bring the EZ Roll Marine Mat to other families looking for easier lake days.
Today, the EZ Roll Marine Mat is built with the same goal we had from the beginning, creating a water mat that’s easier to roll, easier to store, and durable enough for real life on the water.
Designed with a unique patent-pending slotted core and durable vinyl top layer, the EZ Roll Marine Mat was built to roll easier, store better, and stand up to real lake life. From sandbars to ocean waves, our goal has always been simple: create products that make time on the water easier and more enjoyable.
Today, Floatation Innovation is proudly based in North Central Iowa, and we’re continuing to grow by sharing products built from real experience on the water
